Tour Description:
In this tour you will go chasing lights the whole time. This means that if the sky is cloudy, we will move from place to place until we find a clear spot to see the Aurora. We may take you all the way to Finland. If we do not see the Northern Lights we will offer you 50% discount on your next tour (up to availability).
A guide will be sharing facts about the Aurora Borealis and photography. You will understand how to take photos of the Northern Lights with your camera or phone. The tour takes 5-7hours depending on the success of the night.
When you check-in at our shop you can ask if there is availability to upgrade to our Aurora PASS, which entitles you to a 7day pass on our daily tour. For more info, click here.
Important info
- Up to 7h • meeting point 30min before departure at our office, Roald Amundsens Plass 1A – Tromsø
(Shop: Booking Point Tromso) - * If the group size is smaller than 17 people, the tour may be carried on a vehicle without toilet onboard.
- The northern lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed.
- Please provide the age and weight of children so we can provide the correct child seat in the bus. The drive can refuse you to go onboard if you just inform us on the day of departure.
- If you wish to claim the 50% discount remember that is up to seat availability. If the tour is full, we will reserve a seat to you on the next available day. If there is no available seats left, then we will book you on another day. You cannot request a refund for this offer in case there are no available seats or in case you cannot take a tour on another day.
- If we are closed one day, for any customers with tours on the day before, the 50% discount can only be offered on the next day that we are open.
- Discounts offered cannot be refunded (Example: 50% discount). And can only be used by the person who booked.
- The tour can be canceled due to bad weather and you will be offered to change your tour to another day or get a refund.
- You cannot claim a refund if you do not show at the time of the departure. And your 50% discount, or any other discount offered, expire immediately.
- On our last tour of the season the 50% discount cannot be guaranteed the day after because we are closed. (ie: if our last day of the season is May the 4th, and you book a ticket for that day, then the ticket does not include the 50% discount.).
- We can team up with one of our partners that run a similar tour, in order to guarantee our departures. If that happens, we will inform you of a possible new pickup place.
- It can be slippery on the places where we wait for the northern lights.
- We often see the northern lights, even in very cloudy, rainy or snowy nights. Therefore we run the tours regardless of the weather conditions.
- The tour can be canceled due to extreme bad weather or when driving conditions are unsafe. If this happens, you will be offered to change your tour to another day or get a full refund.
- The tour may stay in one location all night or travel to various spots, the priority is always to get the best views of the lights.
