Who is the photographer of the Aurora Angel?

Our employee Morgane Fauconnier, joined our team in 2017. An enthusiastic guide with many years of experience who brought joy to a great portion of our guests in that winter season.

The “Aurora Angel” was captured in the sorroundings of Tromsø, Norway, using the following camera settings:

Camera: Canon 6D

Lens: 14mm

Exposure Time: 25 seconds

ISO: 5000

While the combination of 25s at 5000 iso is not commun, our guide explains thay there was nothing on the sky and she was trying to push the sensitivity so that she could see whether there was any activity at all and suddently, BANG. She didnt even had time to adjust. Everyone was cought by surprise she described this moment as beath taking. These precise settings allowed our guide Morgane to beautifully capture the vibrant colors and ethereal movement of this Aurora boreal in the arctic sky. The photo was taken in Tromsø, Norway, a prime location for witnessing the aurora borealis, making this image not only visually stunning but a true reflection of one of the best Arctic experiences.
